#FindOut Friday Answers 46

It's the end of May already and we're on the last leg of Literary Goodies Season 4. This is the 1st episode in the 4th season and we're looking at the answers for #TriviaTuesday How many did you get right? Answer below!

  1. Steven Farmer - This is a tough one and you would only know if you're familiar with New Age authors. Steven Farmer is one of those, and one of them was an oracle deck called Earth Magic. One of the cards is "The Meadow". Its meaning of vulnerability and being exposed inspired the poems in Through the Meadow. These (fictional) poems were written by a woman who named herself The Swan, brandishing her stamp on every book published. This particular one, addressed a few times throughout the story, talks about running from the shade of convention into the fields where everyone knew your secrets.

  2. Wedding of the now-King Charles III and Lady Diana Spencer - Ahh, the fairy tale wedding every romantic dreamt about...and the marriage that hit tabloid news for decades. The first wedding of the now-King of England was lauded as the best love story ever, and the days that followed saw him with his new, young wife. It's much like the wedding of the grandson of Queen Eleanor in Through the Meadow. The Prince in this story also picked a girl from nobility and relative obscurity and their wedding was the stuff of legends in a conservative environment. Their marriage also was rocky, but theirs was in exile too.

  3. Witch Hunts - There is so much misinformation about witches and the Christian persecutions of them. First, the Salem Witch Trials did not burn the accused, they were hung. Second, burning witches was done in certain European countries, such as Denmark and Scotland, and only at certain periods. The latter idea inspired the witch hunts mentioned in Through the Meadow, Revolution and From Across the Sea. While the first of those books mentioned witnessed a burning at a prison, the other two display the affects of being captured and its aftermath.

That's it, everyone! Namaste, and have a great weekend!
