Oh, my God, tomorrow is Halloween. I am excited!!! And here, we have your answers to this spooky Tuesday trivia. What answers did you get right? Answer in the comments below!
Imaginary Creatures - Created from horror, myth and superstition, mythological creatures are beings (not necessarily humanoid) with extraordinary power, and they only exist in our imagination. They are mentioned here and there throughout the series, Wrapped in the Rays of the Sun, and become more prominent as the series progresses. While vampires, dragons, fairies and other beings are fictional to us, in the world of Enos, they seemed to be just stories, by the fictional Christian standards anyway.
United Nations - Formed in the wake of WW2, the United Nations serves as a worldwide organization that protects human rights, supports fair development for all nations and works to keep world peace. Many countries have joined since its inception in 1945, hoping to build from the failures of the previous League of Nations. The idea of a worldwide organization for the fictional world of Enos, the United Front and the League of Peace (from Through the Meadow to From Across the Sea and beyond), was based upon this idea. If this fictional portrayal of Christianity could force their beliefs on the world, then it was to the interest of the world to protect each other.
Neville Chamberlain - A former prime minister of England, Neville Chamberlain (1869-1940) is best known for his appeasement towards Hitler (think Munich Agreement) and being the first wartime leader in the UK. After he finally declared war against Germany in 1939, Chamberlain led the nation through disaster after disaster, eventually losing his seat and dying later that year. Historians remember Winston Churchill more than Chamberlain, and perhaps with good reason. At least his fiction counterpart - Gerald Rich and his Peace Party in Through the Meadow - fared better. Chamberlain and his policies brought Europe into another global conflict. Rich's kept Mother Church in the kingdom of Klenard for a little long, pushing that they should listen to all sides.
That's it, everyone! The holiday season begins this weekend, and life gets crazy. Join me in January when #BehindTheScenes and #TriviaTuesday return. Namaste!
