Everyone seems to think that they knew US History and what certain parties can get away with...
And they truly don't.
#DidYouKnow seems to be a key term to correct people and all those little, easy-to-digest facts. I am using it to teach you true Civics and actual US History. All sources I am using are academic (primary and secondary sources) or are sourced from reliable places and will be cited Chicago style, which includes the link.
Since given the right to vote in 1870, black men have experienced barriers, including poll taxes and fraud. “Black Americans and the Vote.” National Archives and Records Administration, June 9, 2021. https://www.archives.gov/research/african-americans/vote.

So, think about this...
See how #AllLivesMatter is a slap to the face of these people?
Can you imagine being given the right to vote, and then told you have to do something to cast a ballot? Taken from your home and forced into a religion that made you hate your culture? Or gaslighted into believing you're not doing enough, when the truth was something else? And then told that everyone is welcome, but carries the same attitudes of yesterday?
What if it was YOU?
More to come. Namaste!
