Many apologies for not updating here lately. I am still plowing through Casting Shadows. I also had a couple of side projects I wanted to update. So, writing has been sort of a crooked line. I zigzag all over the place.
Otherwise, I want to leave you all with some lyrics. Despite the crooked lines in life, it makes me think that there are still some rounded bends and surprises. This is from the Indigo Girls' song "Closer to Fine".
Darkness has a hunger that's insatiable, And lightness has a call that's hard to hear. I wrap my fear around me like a blanket. I sailed my ship of safety 'til I sank it. I'm crawling on your shores.
